I chose to run for Carers UK in memory of my Grandad. I am delighted to be given the opportunity to run for them and give something back so that carers can be supported! I would definitely encourage others to run for Carers UK. They have been very informative throughout the process and it is a very worthwhile cause!"

I found doing regular vlogs/video uploads on my social media page to be the most successful way of fundraising. I started these at the start of my training plan and gave updates every fortnight or so. I tended to use my longer runs for these and headed out to 'fun' local landmarks such as football and sport stadiums."
