Digital
switchover
Across the UK, landlines are being moved to a new digital system. Other equipment, such as assisted-living devices, may also be affected. For example, they might need to be upgraded to continue working properly.
Your phone provider should contact you if you have a landline before the switchover happens. If you have a device that could be affected, such as a personal alarm, you could contact the supplier for guidance and peace of mind.
