News has been announced of the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II. She had been the figurehead for the United Kingdom for more than seventy years and the news of her death is a cause of great sadness to many of us at Carers UK, our members, volunteers and unpaid carers throughout the United Kingdom.

As a nation we have now entered a period of mourning and have decided that Carers UK will need to adjust how it works through this period and shall be closed completely on the National Day of Mourning. During this time some of our services will also be affected, as will pre-arranged face-to-face meetings and events: we will be in touch with those affected as soon as we can.
