Carers NI runs a Carers Policy Forum. The Policy Forum aims to allow members to share their knowledge and experiences helping to build up the evidence base to inform our policy positions and to provide opportunities for members to engage directly with Government, decision makers and policy developers.
- You can attend as many or as few meetings as you like
- You can have your say and contribute at times and ways that works best for you, and
- You will get the opportunity to meet key decision makers to advocate for change.
Don’t worry if you cannot make all the meetings and events, you will have plenty of chances to have your say and take part, at a time and way that works best for you.
The Carers Policy Forum is funded by the Carers Support Fund, delivered by the Community Foundation NI, supported by the Department of Health.
Angela Phillips, Senior Policy and Engagement Officer will be supporting the Carers Policy Forum and will be the contact person if you have any questions, ideas or queries.
If you’re interested in joining the Carers Policy Forum or would like more information, please email her at angela.phillips@carersni.org
