Carers Wales is delighted to be hosting the Wales Carers Assembly on Monday 19th February in Siambr Hywel (the old debating chamber) at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay.

The day will start at 10:00 and run until 15:00, with a mix of sessions empowering unpaid carers to engage directly with elected representatives, and senior officials in the health and social care sector and to lead discussions on the issues which impact carers across Wales on a daily basis.

We want representation from every area of Wales so we will be selecting at least two unpaid carers for each local authority (council) area. The event will be hybrid so anyone who isn't selected or those who prefer not to travel will be able to engage and contribute from home.

There will be limited bursaries available for in-person attendees to assist with travel, accommodation and/or respite care. Details for these will be released well in advance of the event.

More information on the event will be released in the run-up to the event.
